What is the scope of THRIVE’s business setup services?

How long does it take to register a new business in the Philippines?
The timeframe of registration will vary depending on the business entity type that you will choose, as well as the completeness of the requirements. Regulatory approval also is a factor in the timeline.

What are the usual requirements for business registration in the Philippines?
The requirements vary depending on the type of business entity that you wish to register (OPC, Domestic Corporation, Sole Proprietorship, Foreign Corporation). However, you should at least accomplish the following pre-registration requirements in order to begin the registration process:
- Desired company name (prepare 3 options)
- Contract of lease of your office / business address / virtual office
- Appointed resident agent for foreign corporations

I don’t have a physical office. What are my options?

Why do I have to pay 50% as down payment? Any payment terms?
- 50% down payment of professional fees before project starts
- 25% partial payment of professional fees upon completion of DTI/SEC and BIR
- 25% full payment of professional fees upon completion of registration
How about actual fees to be paid to the government during registration? Are there any estimated out-of-pocket costs I need to prepare for?
THRIVE required 100% advance for registration expenses (subject to liquidation) before project starts – to be used for actual costs to the government agencies
- Amount of advance that is subject to liquidation: ₱ 20,000.00
- All other out-of-pocket expenses to be incurred above the advance as a result of the activities shall be for the client’s account.
- Any excess shall be returned to you
